Quick summary
Best Gong alternatives in 2026: Fathom (free, logs calls to HubSpot) and Fireflies ($10 a seat a month billed yearly) for call notes; Avoma ($19 a seat plus $29 add-ons) and Sybill ($30 to $90 a user) for coaching and deal insights; HubSpot Sales Hub Professional ($90 a seat) if you would rather keep it all in the CRM.
What Gong costs: Gong does not publish prices. It charges per user plus a platform fee, and Vendr's purchase data puts the median buyer at $55,359 a year, with seats commonly $1,200 to $2,400 a year.
What you give up: the cheaper tools cover recording, summaries and CRM logging. Forecasting, deal risk and pipeline analytics need Avoma's Revenue Intelligence add-on, Sybill Business, HubSpot Sales Hub, or an enterprise platform such as Chorus or Clari.

Three questions that narrow the list
- Is the job getting every call recorded and logged to HubSpot? A notetaker (Fathom or Fireflies) does that for $0 to $25 a user.
- Do managers coach from scorecards and trackers? You need conversation intelligence: Avoma's add-on, Sybill, Jiminny or HubSpot Sales Hub.
- Do you run forecasts and pipeline reviews from call data? Look at Avoma Revenue Intelligence, HubSpot's forecasting, or stay with an enterprise platform.

What Gong Costs Before You Compare
Gong's pricing page gives no figures. It says licenses are priced per user, that there is a platform fee based on the number of users supported, that integrating your existing tools is free, and that Gong prepares a customized proposal.
The best public benchmark is Vendr, which reports anonymized purchase data:
| Vendr benchmark | Figure |
|---|---|
| Median annual contract | $55,359, across 1,151 purchases |
| Range | $11,530 to $204,050 a year |
| Typical seat price, mid-market and enterprise | $1,200 to $2,400 a year |
| Add-ons such as Gong Engage and Gong Forecast | Commonly 20 to 40 percent of the base cost per seat |
| Two- and three-year terms | 15 to 30 percent lower annual pricing |
Gong's contracts cover more than call recording, so the fair comparison depends on which parts of Gong you actually use. Most of the tools below replace the recording, transcription and CRM logging; fewer replace forecasting and deal boards.
The 6 Best Gong Alternatives by Price
1. Fathom: the best free Gong alternative
Fathom's free plan includes unlimited recording, transcription and storage, AI call summaries, and HubSpot logging for up to three users per domain. Call summaries land on the HubSpot meeting, action items can become tasks, and calls attach to deals. Business ($25 a user a month billed yearly, $34 monthly, two-user minimum) removes the three-user cap and adds CRM field sync, which writes summary sections into HubSpot deal properties. Fathom's pricing page also offers Fathom Business free for the rest of your contract if you switch from Gong. It is light on coaching analytics and has no forecasting.
2. Fireflies: the cheapest paid seat with HubSpot
Fireflies Pro is $10 a seat a month billed yearly, or $18 monthly, and is the cheapest plan that sends meeting summaries, notes and action items to HubSpot. Business ($19 billed yearly, $29 monthly) adds rules for which meetings sync and CRM Autofill, which fills HubSpot contact, company and deal properties from the call and uses one AI credit per meeting. Transcription covers more than 100 languages. Like Fathom, it is a notetaker, not a forecasting tool.
3. Avoma: the closest match at published prices
Avoma prices per recorder seat: Startup is $19 a month billed yearly or $29 monthly (up to 25 paid seats), and viewers are free. The parts that overlap Gong are add-ons at $29 a seat billed yearly or $35 monthly each. Conversation Intelligence adds AI call scoring, custom scorecards for methods such as MEDDICC and SPICED, keyword trackers and coaching recommendations. Revenue Intelligence adds roll-up forecasting, deal risk alerts, a deal health score, a pipeline review board and two-way CRM field updates. Notes save to HubSpot records on every plan.
4. Sybill: deal fields written from every call
Sybill's Pro plan is $30 a user a month on annual billing ($36 monthly) and pushes meeting summaries to your CRM. Business, at $90 annually ($108 monthly), adds CRM Autofill for 10 fields; Enterprise is quoted and has unlimited autofill. Sybill's help center says the HubSpot integration fills deal fields such as MEDDPICC, BANT, next steps, competition and risks after every call and email, and logs the meeting activity. Only Sybill admins can set it up.
5. HubSpot Sales Hub: conversation intelligence inside the CRM
If your team already lives in HubSpot, Sales Hub Professional ($90 a seat a month billed yearly, $100 monthly, plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee) records and transcribes calls automatically for users with a Professional or Enterprise seat, includes HubSpot's Notetaker, and has forecasting tools. Tracked terms, which flag topics such as competitors across transcripts, need Enterprise ($150 a seat, $3,500 onboarding). You are paying for CRM seats as well, so this is cheapest for teams that were going to upgrade anyway.
6. Jiminny: a like-for-like swap for HubSpot teams
Jiminny is a conversation intelligence platform with native HubSpot and Salesforce integrations; its HubSpot listing shares contacts, companies, deals, engagements and activity. It does not publish prices. Its pricing page says there is no platform fee, only a one-time setup fee, with a 12-month minimum contract billed monthly or annually. Seats come in three types: Recording for reps, Insights for managers and coaches, and Listener for read-only access. Third-party listings put the Recording seat at about $83 to $85 a month, so treat that as an estimate until you have a quote.
What About Chorus and Clari?
Chorus and Clari are the names most often listed next to Gong, and both are enterprise platforms rather than cheaper swaps. ZoomInfo does not publish Chorus pricing, and LeadHaste reports it is now sold mostly as part of ZoomInfo's wider platform. Clari merged with Salesloft on December 3, 2025, and Clari's pricing page now redirects to a Salesloft demo request. Both are quote-based, so you cannot check the saving until you are in a sales process. They suit teams that want to replace Gong feature for feature, not teams trying to spend less.
What a 5-Rep Team Pays for Each Gong Alternative
Billed yearly, with every rep's calls syncing to HubSpot:
| Tool and plan | Per user a month | 5 reps a year |
|---|---|---|
| Fireflies Pro | $10 | $600 |
| Fireflies Business | $19 | $1,140 |
| Avoma Startup | $19 | $1,140 |
| Fathom Business | $25 | $1,500 |
| Sybill Pro | $30 | $1,800 |
| Avoma Startup plus Conversation Intelligence | $48 | $2,880 |
| Avoma Startup plus both add-ons | $77 | $4,620 |
| Sybill Business | $90 | $5,400 |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Professional | $90 | $5,400, plus $1,500 onboarding |
| Gong, at Vendr's seat range | $100 to $200 | $6,000 to $12,000, plus the platform fee |
The gap is widest for small teams, because Gong's platform fee does not shrink much with headcount. For 50 or more reps, the per-seat numbers get closer and Gong's multi-year discounts start to matter.
Call notes in HubSpot, account plans in Notion?
NoteLinker shows your Notion account plans, deal notes and meeting databases live on HubSpot contact and deal records. $19 a month for the whole HubSpot account.
Where Call Notes Stop and Account Context Starts
Whichever tool replaces Gong, it captures what was said on the call. It does not capture what the rep writes before and after: the account plan, the stakeholder map, the mutual action plan, the notes from a dinner with the champion. For teams that keep that work in Notion, it stays invisible to anyone working from the HubSpot record.
- 1
Keep account plans and deal notes in a Notion database
Add an Email column to match HubSpot contacts, or a Deal Name column to match deals.
- 2
Install NoteLinker from the HubSpot Marketplace
Connect Notion and pick the databases to show. Setup takes a couple of minutes.
- 3
Open the contact or deal
Matching Notion rows show live on the record, next to the call your notetaker logged.
NoteLinker is not a Gong alternative: it does not record, transcribe or score calls, and it does not log activities. It shows Notion database rows on HubSpot contact and deal records (not companies) for $19 a month for the whole account. For more on the notetaker side, see our Fathom AI pricing and Fireflies AI pricing breakdowns, the comparison of AI notetakers for HubSpot, and account planning software for the planning side.
